12 inch miter saws are usually assumed to be the best of the best, but is this really the truth? Find out if these saws are worth the hype or if you would do just as well with an 8-1/2 or 10 inch saw instead.

  1. Always with the Dewalts in these pictures. I’ve got half a mind to try one of those things. Is it really better than the Bosch? I’ve always had good results with mine, but maybe I’m missing out. What are some notable differences between the two?

  2. Do all sliding miter saws like these have it where you can lock it to a certain angle? I don’t think mine has the doohickey that locks it in place. I could be wrong though.

  4. These things are the best. So much versatility. It’s tools like this that make anything seem possible. The more you can combine tools, the better.

  5. This is some pretty advanced looking stuff. I feel like I might need a tutor for this kind of thing. Is it pretty easy to figure out, though? I guess I can use it like a regular saw and gradually work my way up to the more advanced features. Right?
